A few years back I threw together the video below. I discuss how for a while I had been interviewing various sales enablement leaders, sales professors and individual sales people. I would ask them about the state of sales and if the plethora of sales tech and content we have today is making sales people now better than salespeople of previous decades. No one ever said yes.
I go on to make predictions that the larger sales training companies will get into the tech game but with minimal success and that the larger tech firms will swallow up the point solutions. I was right about this
I also predicted that disruption was coming soon but it wouldn't come from an established player but a total outsider. I haven't been right about this yet but i've certainly not been wrong. I thought the disruption would have come already. Fortunately though it has not, as maybe there's someone working on it :)
